Never quite gave much thought to Hot Chip until I heard their cover of Vampire Weekend's "Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa" with Peter Gabriel. "Flutes" is the most infectious track I've heard from them so far, still needing to flip through their back catalogue. I love the distortion in the back of the track. I AM SO JEALOUS. I have seen them twice since their album's come out and both times I've been desperate to hear Dance Yrself Clean, Home and You Wanted a Hit, and they've played neither. What were the other two like? Why do you think they have waited so long to start playing tracks from their new album?

I have no idea how you always manage to have have such great mixtapes but I always appreciate learning about new music through you. I need to get around to organizing my current tastes a bit more. I like how mixcloud has a visual, in addition to playing the selection. Great finds in site utilities too! :p

That's a pretty good way to really enjoy the album. I'm still giving the album a chance since it seems I pay more attention to it doing the opposite, having a song pop up on random and realizing how great it is on its own. I think once I can do that, it'd be easier to build attention to listen to it whole.

By the way, I assume Weezer does not make you feel the same way anymore :-p
