The interweaving, breathy vocals and half-spoken verses are disarmingly pretty. The mix is spaced out for the three vocalists; notice that the drums sound like they were recorded at distance. The band has gone through its share of drummers, at one time featuring one Shannyn Sossamon. Not surprising for a band whose founding members met at a commercial casting.
