Uffie - MCs Can Kiss
Uffie, an American-born, Hong Kong-raised, Paris-based singer has had singles floating around for a couple of years now, but her debut album won't be out until Valentine's Day. "MCs Can Kiss" sounds at first like it could be a Beastie Boys sample and opens into a more fun and lyrically interesting version of pop contemporaries such as Ke$ha (see Lizzyville's discussion on this). She's definitely better looking, Uffie that is.

Alphabeat - Digital Love (Daft Punk Cover)
This one's for a couple of friends that are probably too into Alphabeat. This is one of those groups whose name and appearance makes me think that they're a recently reunited 90's pop group, well they're not. Their first single landed in 2007. Huh.
